New Building Commissioning
CERx Solutions commissioning process and implementation has been developed to meet and exceed the requirements of the U.S. Green Building Council LEED rating system for both fundamental and enhanced commissioning. Our process is also recognized by most federal, state, and local agencies commissioning guidelines. We meet and exceed the commissioning requirements stipulated in IECC 2015/ASHRAE 90.1-2014 and mandated by the State of Illinois as well as by multiple other states and jurisdictions. Existing Building Commissioning and Systems Tune Up
We monitor and analyze your systems to look for operational improvements. Retro-commissioning improves the operation of existing systems and can provide maintainability, sustainability and energy savings with only minor changes. Energy Efficiency
An energy audit is the process of having a professional energy auditor assess your building for energy savings opportunities. The term energy audit also is used to refer to the result of the energy assessment process, the energy audit report. An energy audit report is a carefully thought out plan, which, if followed, will lead you to reduced energy costs. Every building is different, and each contains different opportunities which can reduce energy usage.
Benchmarking the energy performance
All commercial buildings can assess their energy performance, water efficiency, and carbon emissions using the EPA Energy Star Portfolio Manager too. Collecting all the data needed for an energy benchmark can be a difficult and time consuming task. CERx Solutions simplifies this by guiding you through and managing the entire data collection process, from start to finish. Our team will help determine your facility ENERGY STAR® Score for tracking purposes and for compliance with reporting requirements across the US. Benchmarking is currently mandated by the City of Chicago as well as 9 other large US Cities. CERx Solutions is qualified to certify benchmarking results with the City of Chicago, and is a certified Building Energy Quotient (bEQ) service provider with the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
